About Me:
"ok helooo everyone
so whats happened in my life in the past year that should interest
you ???? well on a professional level i think this past year was an
unbelievable roller coaster in terms of my career ... but am i a year
older and wiser ??? dont quite know ... the year started with great
promise i made my big bollywood debut in awaarapan ... alas if only
half the congratulatory messages i recieved had translated into box
office success things would have been different now ... but thats
just how this unbelievably fickle our media world is ... and infortunately
all the wisdom , experience , and talent in the world cannot prepare
you for the FRIDAY ... i never quite understood what people meant
by friday of a film .. guess now i do .... so after the incredible
high of the release there was the downer of my film not doing well
... so there was this descision to make .. should i follow all the
generous praise that i had got for my performance and hopr and wait
for my second film or .... be realistic , smart and cash in on my
success on tv ... sadly hope is something i dnt belive in , luck i
have never had and backing ... well thats another issue .. so i did
what i felt best .. and got down to doing what i do best ... making
money ......
i know this is a slightly serious side to the ever jovial salil who
youll are used to seeing ... but simetimes thats me ....
so the question arises ... am i happy ???? almost ... i know at times
it can sound ungrateful ... even pompous ... but i cant help it when
theres a fire raging within .... ur burning with desire to fly ..
and conquer all your demons , all the doughting thomases ,and maybe
i will someday .. but for now its a romantic , brooding image of amitabh
bachhann raging in my head .... think zanjeer , deewar .... i guess
ive always wanted to be tragedy king .... well now im getting to live
my dream .....
on a lighter note ... well theres a lot more happening in my life
.. im back to one of my first loves ... sport ... (cricket ) in a
big way and i think thats got me real excited ...otherwise my romance
with work , money , stress continue ....... sorry guys women are perhaps
i am like this today .. but i think the bransons , the trumps , the
ambani of the world have taken over my soul .....
