Farah Khan has an ace up her sleeve. According to reports, her forthcoming film Om Shanti Om has reincarnation as its central theme. The film is set during the 70’s and present. Shah Rukh Khan plays a character who dies during the 70s but is reborn soon after, and starts to remember his previous life when he reached his adult age. Given the fact that the film will be set in two different periods, Farah is using music as one of the elements to highlight this aspect. And to ensure authenticity in the musical styles, she has roped in Pyarelal [one half of the legendary Laxmikant - Pyarelal duo] to score the music for the first part of the film while Vishal - Shekhar will compose music for the second half. Om Shanti Om also marks the debut of Deepika Padukone.
