After Neil Mukesh and Ranbir Kapoor, it is Amit Sial's turn to
walk away with a lot of accolades for the intensity in his acting.
The newcomer who recently debuted, sharing screen space with Anupam
Kher and Mahima Choudhary in Tanuja Chandra's 'Hope and a Little
Sugar', is receiving a lot of praise for the portrayal of the
character of Ali, which becomes the point of conflict in the film.
Amit, who started doing theatre with Barry John a few years ago,
was enjoying it till he moved to Australia for his management
studies. There, he met actor Randeep Hooda, who later introduced
him to Tanuja Chandra on their return to India.
Though he has made an unconventional entry into Bollywood, Amit
is quite confident about his future. When asked what kind of roles
he wishes to do, he says, "My philosophy is – I am
an actor and I must be open to doing any type of role. I want
to do everything that is interesting and challenging." We
wish him all the best.
