Mallika Sherawat definitely loves flashing her bikini on the beach, but the actress is sure going to think twice before diving into the ocean after this deadly happening. Mallika was shooting for ‘Maan Gaye Mughal-E-Azaam’ on the tranquil beaches in Pondicherry, for a specific shot Mallika was required to stand in deep waters and play a musical instrument as disclosed by Director Sanjay Chhel.

Mallika was thrilled about the show and started walking towards the sea, the actress was asked to stand at a specific point, but by the time the shot was ready a unexpected high tide approached. Mallika was almost swept inside the sea and despite being a good swimmer she started drowning and people on the shore had to dive in to rescue her. It took a while for Mallika to recover from the shock, but once she was over it the actress was ready to shoot, but she made sure that this time she was not in deep waters, but close to the shore.

Director Sanjay Chhel and the crew thought that Mallika would cancel the shoot, but on seeing the actress put a brave front despite the frightening incident they couldn’t help but sing ‘Maan Gaye Mallika-E-Azam’.
