It’s very outlandish that on one hand, there are so many ads on radio and TV that advocate the importance of using a condom. But, on the other hand, there is Censor Board for Bollywood movies, which has ordered the cutting of a scene from the film Hello that has actress Gul Panag mouthing the usage of condom. She added that this decision only shows the double standards of the Censor Board.

In this scene, Gul is questioning Sharman Joshi whether he is carrying a condom before they have sex. The deletion of the condom word from the scene has annoyed Gul, and she is now planning to write a letter to the Censor officials about their decision.
Gul told that since the scene required her and Sharman to make love, and she asks like any knowledgeable woman that if he is carrying a condom, before sex. Gul finds it funny because the lovemaking scene is retained, but the word condom has been deleted from the dialogue. |
