Jade Goody and Shilpa Shetty are apparently good friends now particularly after the Big Brother controversy that made Shilpa an overnight celebrity. Now Shilpa tells us that Jade, who is at the final stage of her cervical cancer has invited Shilpa for her wedding.

“I called her (Goody), hoping it (deteriorating health) was only a rumour, but she confirmed it. Jade being Jade, shifted the topic to her wedding on Sunday and she invited me for it,” Shilpa posted on her blog.

The actress is extremely concerned for Goody’s kids - Bobby, five, and Freddie, four.

“She (Goody) wants the best for her kids and I hope Jack makes a good father to them. I also hope for a miracle to happen for her children’s sake.”

It is said that Goody’s ailment has now spread to her liver, bowels and groin and according to doctors, she has only months to live.
