Reportedly the ad makers of a clothing line which Hrithik Roshan endorses wanted the super star to look fitter and best for an upcoming commercial that’s aimed at the youth.

They are supposedly perfectionists and they went ahead and asked him to get leaner by a few inches and even shed the muscular look, which he’s sporting for his home production ‘Kites’.

The buzz is that Hrithik’s dad Rakesh Roshan was not in favor of his son losing any muscle as that extra lean look wouldn’t have suited Hrithik’s character in the upcoming Sanjay Leela Bhansali movie. He’s about to shoot for that movie and papa Roshan knows the best.

But the very professional actor decided to listen to his heart and the ad filmmaker and shed some weight. He actually ended up plummeting his waist from 30 inches to 28 inches for the shoot. Now that’s called devotion. Hrithik Roshan sure has loads of it. No wonder he’s one of the biggies out here.
