Hey girls, hold your breath! Neil Nitin Mukesh , the rising pin-up boy of Bollywood, goes nude for the camera.

Male nudity is finally out of the closet. Just a few months back we saw John Abraham in small trunks (in Dostana) that left very little to imagination. Now, Neil goes a step further and has dropped his pants for a scene in Madhur Bhandarkar’s film Jail .

Mind you, it’s not a titillating scene in which Neil strips down to attract the fairer sex. Rather, it’s a scene in which Neil’s character is stripped by the jail authorities.
The film, another realistic potshot on society and system by Madhur Bhandarkar, has Neil playing a convict who’s tortured in the prison. The strip scene is one of these sequences.

Bhandarkar reportedly conceived the scene with his writers and convinced Neil that it would be shot aesthetically even though the actor was initially nervous about dropping his pants in front of the camera.

At last, when the shot was canned, only a few selected people were on the sets. Bhandarkar also had to be careful about the camera angles, because a little more skin revelation would have made the scene vulgar while a little less would have taken away the impact he wanted.

Talking about the scene, Neil said a Mumbai tabloid that his strip scene is “one of the most beautifully shot sequences” that will shock people.
