The mysterious death of Michael Jackson has left a deep impact on the entertainment industry. Apart from Hollywood, Bollywood too is mourning the demise of the unique legend.
The news is that Bollywood’s famous actor-director pair, Shahid Kapur and Ken Ghosh, are all set to pay a tribute to the genius through their forthcoming venture. According to the sources, Shahid plays an aspiring star and a devotee of MJ in the movie tentatively titled Yahoo.

Interestingly, a sequence in the movie has stunned one and all. Talking more about it, Ken tells “It’s not as if we planned it this way. But it’s uncanny. Just before Michael Jackson’s death we shot a sequence where Shahid salutes a poster of MJ. It isn’t just homage. It’s like a devotee bowing to his deity. When we saw the sequence at a trial which happened after Michael’s death, we were zapped."
Speaking further on Shahid’s part in the movie Ken added that he refrained to duplicate Michael’s dance steps for Shahid as, "Shahid plays a dancer who dreams of being a star. Michael is his role model. I couldn’t have Shahid copying Michael’s steps. It would’ve been an insult to both. Shahid has his own stunning dancing style." |
