Bollywood actress Shamita Shetty who was inside the Reality Show during elder sister Shilpa Shetty’s engagement with Raj Kundra, is upset that the engagement ceremony took place without her.

Shamita tells, “I was really sad to hear that Shilpa was doing this when I was in a reality show and could not get out of there to attend the event. Shilpa’s wedding is a cherished moment for the family and that includes me too. It’s going to happen just once and so I did not want to miss out on anything. I felt really horrible and disappointed that I missed her engagement.”

Shamita however knows that Shilpa couldn’t postpone her wedding because of the auspicious day. She adds, “She sent me a sweet handwritten letter in which she apologised to me by saying sorry many times. I cried a lot after reading the letter because I knew she wanted to wait for me but the circumstances made her go ahead with the engagement. I have forgiven her for making me sad.”

Shamita includes, “I wanted to spend every single day with her and I really broke down. I was thinking that I was throwing away the days I should be with her by being in a reality show. She would get married and go to London and then I won’t be able to see her when I want to. I wanted to spend as much time as possible with her. Shilpa has already organised people who will help me out with my wedding dress and other things. I still have to figure out what gift I will be giving her.”

Shilpa is tying the knot with Raj on November 22. She has invited Jermaine Jackson and Shane Warne as special guests for her marriage.
