All right, ever since Deepika-Ranbir split, the lady is neck deep in work. Little birdie says us that though Deepika is single-minded to focus on her career, the actress couldn’t help but turn down a lucrative movie offer as the producer wanted to cast Ranbir in the lead role.

A close source informs, "A well known producer recently offered a movie to Deepika and planned to cast Ranbir as the male lead. But, the actress turned down the proposal simply for the reason that it had Ranbir opposite her."
