Salman Khan is well-known for his kindness but not many people know that his much-awaited upcoming project ‘Veer’ was offered to his ladylove Katrina Kaif before it went to the kitty of newcomer Zarine Khan. Now if sources are to be believed, the pretty new face Zarine had been an assistant to Katrina Kaif for quite a long time.

Zarine has been paired opposite Salman and plays the pivotal role of Princess Yashodhara.

A close source discloses, “Yes, Zarine was offered the role after Katrina refused, due to date problems. Zarine had been an assistant to Kats for a while and now she is being launched by Salman.”
