Believe it or not, Aamir Khan’s wife Kiran Rao was skeptical of casting him in her movie ‘Dhobi Ghat’ and Aamir had to go through a screen test to prove to his darling wife that he is appropriate for the role. Actually, debutant director Kiran Rao wanted a new face for her movie and didn’t want the audience to come and watch Aamir Khan – the star. However, it was only after a screen test that wifey Kiran was sure of casting Aamir.

“She couldn’t see anyone else but me as I had quite impressed her with my acting skills,” Aamir revealed in an interview.
No wonder, husbands have to time and again prove their worth!
