After the disaster of ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’, the queen bee of Bollywood was reduced to television judging a dance show. But now, things are again looking up for Rani Mukerji.

We hear, Rani will soon be doing a Deepa Mehta movie. Buzz has it that she had a meeting with celebrated author Salman Rushdie and director Deepa Mehta in Toronto for a movie based on Midnight's Children. Well-placed sources tell us that Rushdie likes Rani a lot, and it is he who wants Rani to play the lead role.

It remains to be seen if Deepa acts on Rushdie’s suggestion? But, we sincerely hope this film revives Rani’s fading career.
