Director Rohit Shetty, popular for comic capers Golmaal and Golmaal Returns is ready with Golmaal 3, atleast in plans!



The cast, pre-production date and even the release date have been fixed by him. He plans to release the film this Diwali. The pre-production work will flag off from April 4th. That's keeping Rohit busy these days.

Among the cast, Sharman Joshi will not be a part of Golmaal 3. He very successfully enacted the role of Laxman in Golmaal and appeared framed in Golmaal Returns. Tusshar Kapoor will continue to play the mute Lucky but this time it will be ‘different', tells Rohit.

Paresh Rawal and Sushmita Mukherjee, who played the visually impaired couple in the first Golmaal were not there even in the second one. So in the third movie also they will be missing. Instead Mithun Chakraborthy and Ratna Shah Pathak will be essaying vital and interesting roles.

Among the ladies, only Kareena Kapoor will be present. In the meantime, Kunal Khemu will be a new addition to the cast. Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi and Shreyas Talpade will be the ones acting in the third installment also.

In the meantime, Rohit also is planning to remake a Malayalam movie Puthiya Mukham in Hindi and it will star his favorite actor Ajay Devgan. This film will make a comeback of Rohit in the action genre after his debut Zameen. He promises to deliver hardcore action sequences this time. 

“You will see realistic hardcore action”, says Rohit.
