Gauhar Khan, reputed for her near-win act in reality show last year is taking the dancer in her rather sincerely. In Ekta Kapoor's production ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai', she has performed a number that is based on the revamped version of the 1970's hit Piya tu ab to aaja composed by the great Pritam.
“The producers re-arranged the song after getting permission from the concerned music company and the producers of the film, Caravan. I just couldn't stop tapping my feet after hearing the new version”, says the sexy star.
The movie, ‘Once Upon A Time in Mumbai', stars Ajay Devgn and Kangna Ranaut in it and is directed by Milan Luthria. It is a movie based upon the mafia in Mumbai in 1970s.
As for the dance, Gauhar says that Helen is the inspiration behind the dance number but it has not been copied from her as her dance moves are difficult to copy. ”Helenji is an inspiration. She's someone you just cannot copy. She is still a diva,” tells Gauhar as a matter of fact.
