Actress Sonam Kapoor has finally apologized to Shobha De, after she retweeted a tweet by ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ director Punit Malhotra, describing the known writer as a “fossil”.

In her apology, Sonam told, “Mrs. De I owe you an apology for getting personal. I'm ashamed for my momentary lapse in judgment and apologetic. Every writer and journalist and audiences are entitled to their opinion and I respect that.”
Shobha De had lambasted the movie in her column in a newspaper, and ‘IHLS’ director Punit Malhotra instantly jumped in to defend his movie calling the writer as a “fossil”. In an exclusive interview, Punit Malhotra had opined that Shobha De had no right to get personal in her reviews and he won’t say sorry from his side.
It may be recalled that Shobha De had labeled Sonam Kapoor as the girl with “no sex appeal at all” after the release of her first movie ‘Saawariya’, that had not gone well with Sonam.
Hopeful that the war of words ends here…
