If the newest buzz is to go by, it is learnt that Shahid Kapoor will not feature in the sequel of Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, but now Imran Khan will play ‘Chhota Rajan’. It is also heard that it is Kareena Kapoor who has recommended Imy’s name for the film.

As per a source , “Kareena feels that Imran would bring novelty to the character inspired by Rajan. It is obvious because he has played strong romantic roles in most of his films.”

That’s not the simply reason. The actress has managed to get along with her Short Term Shaadi co-star very well. A source reveals, “That’s also one reason why she’s so strongly recommending Imran’s for this film.”

On talking to CEO Balaji Motion Pictures, he told, “It’s still too early to talk about the parallel male lead. When things are finalized, we’ll make a formal announcement.”
