Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na is a biggest start of the year. It has all the masala whether the emotions, love, friendship, ear soothing music, good direction, good drama, good comedy etc. Imran Khan had a good launch with this movie. Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na is a cute love story and the script is mould in such a way that it accepted by every section of the society. The young and raw faces have delivered the story in a very beautiful manner. There is an electrifying chemistry between Imran Khan and Genelia D'Souza.

The movie revolves around 6 friends - Jai (Rats), Aditi (Meow), Ravindra (Rotlu), Sandhya (Bombs), Meghna and Jignesh. Jai (Imran Khan) and Aditi (Genelia D'Souza) are especially close among the group of friends and everybody including their parents thinks they are dating each other, also.

After completing their studies Aditi's parents invite Jai to discuss their future and marriage plan. Both are shocked because they don't see each other in that way. They feel that they are just best friends, because they have notions about how they want their respective dream partners to be.

Aditi wants a strong man who can fight to protect her whereas Jai wants a sweet tempered girl.

During the film, after protecting Meghna from hooligans in a night club, Jai and Meghna starts going around. When this happens Aditi starts feeling something is missing as Jai does not give her full attention. So Aditi starts dating Sushant, a family friend, who totally fits in the shoe of his dream prince. Then there is an interesting twist in the movie - Jai feels jealous when Aditi announces her engagement with Sushant, Meghna recognizes Jai's hidden feelings towards Aditi and she breaks up with him.

On the other side Aditi and Sushant violently end their relationship when she confesses her feelings for Jai. However she also decides to go U.S for studying film making course and at the end Jai stops Aditi in a very dramatic way and confesses his feelings and there is very climax of the movie.

Imran has proved in his debut that he is the nephew of perfectionist Aamir Khan. He is a youth romantic entertainer. Genelia has given a sparkling and spontaneous performance. Brilliant work is done by another star kid Parteek Babbar (Amit). He plays Genelia's brother in the film, who is a maverick. Going by his looks and performance one can look forward to a lot more good work from Smita Patil and Raj Babbar's kid Parteek.

Every character has given his or her best. Guest appearance by veteran Naseeruddin Shah, Kitu Gidwani, Paresh Rawal, Sohail and Arbaaz Khan has added the additional spice into the movie. Music is given by all time greatest musician and living legend A.R Rehman and the track like 'Pappu Cant Dance' are the hits of the today's disco.  Abbas Tyrewala has directed his debut movie with full expertise. JTYJN is a refreshing film. Once again Aamir Khan Production has delivered the movie upto to the expectations of audiences.
