Love Story 2050 is the much awaited movie of the year. It is a debut of Harman Baweja son of director Harry Baweja. The movie is something which takes you to your dreamland. Watching Love Story 2050 is an amazing, multi layered experience; you will watch both romance as well as science fiction. Movie is embellished with special effects.

It's a story about a young sporty boy Karan (Harman Baweja), he is very happy go lucky type of guy, he loves to play with danger & lives life without any rules & Sana (Priyanka Chopra), she is very lovable, shy girl, who lives life by rules, they both are opposite of each other, as opposite attracts they fall in love with each other & decide to get married. Dr. Yatinder Khanna (Boman Irani) plays scientist & uncle of Karan who is try to design 'Time Machine' from last 15 years. When Karan shows time machine to Sana, she expresses her wish to travel Mumbai in 2050, but uncle Yatinder does not allow them. Now there is a twist in the movie Sana meets an accident & dies leaving Karan alone, this whole scenes are very tear jerking.

Dr Yatinder Khanna time machine finally starts working, & to ease the pain of his nephew Karan, they enter Mumbai 2050 along with Rahul & Thea (younger siblings of Sana). They all are fascinated towards the futuristic & totally changed Mumbai which is having flying cars, robots, 200 story buildings, laser guns, sky rails etc. Now Karan comes to know his Sana is known as 'Zeisha' in Mumbai 2050 & Zeisha doesn't remember her past life , now she is not like Sana, she is a famous rock star, she is arrogant, bold, popular & it's not easy to approach her. Moreover now she doesn't believe in love . Zeisha has robotic teddy bear known as 'Boo'. Boo & Quty (another robot) try to reunite them.

When Karan tells Zeisha that they both are lovers of 2008 & he had come there to take her back to 2008, but she does not believe him & her guards take him away. As script would have it he drops Sana's diary there, after reading which, Zeisha remembers her past life. During this Dr. Yatinder & Karan are under threat of Dr.Hoshi.

Before leaving back to 2008 Karan comes to Zeisha saying her goodbye & Karan true love works Zeisha tells him that now she remember everything & wants to go with him.

The chemistry between Harman & Priyanka really works. Harman Baweja has a potential for 'lambe race ka ghoda', he is exceptional dancer, good looking& has a strong body language. Priyanka Chopra is immensely likeable & has given an outstanding performance & her red hair is much appreciated. Director & story writer Harry Baweja has done a terrific job & given a very good platform to his son.

Veteran Anu Malik has given an awesome & long lasting remembering music; lyrics are penned by Javed Akhtar, choreography is exceptional, cinematography by Vijay Arora is upto the mark. Costumes & styling are of top class. Foreign locations are also the strength of the movie. Special effects by Weta Workshop & John Cox are the USP of the movie & they are the benchmark in Indian Cinema. Watching love Story 2050 is departure from routine cinema.
