Aditya Kumar (Ajay Devgn) is a famous Bollywood superstar, but is upset that his son Kabir (Amey Pandya) is not happy with his success and fame as a reel life hero. Kabir wants him to be a real life hero as well. Opportunity comes knocking on Aditya's door when Kabir's favourite characters from a game kidnap and take him to their world, Toonpur, where the Devtoons (the good cartoon characters) reside. The Devtoons want Aditya, the big-screen superhero, to fight with the Toonasurs (the bad characters), who have snatched their place by force. Aditya vows to help the Devtoons, and singlehandedly takes on with the cruel Jagaaro (leader of Toonasurs) and other villainous cartoon characters in a game full of thrills.
Kireet Khurana's direction is relevant and skillful. All the characters are given significance in the narrative.
Ajay and Kajol are brilliant in their parts. The kids, Amey and Chinki could have done a little better. Cameo roles by Tanuja, Mukesh Tiwari and Raza Murad are efficient.
