Singer Asha Bhosale has recorded a special song-Thoomka Laga-and even shot a music video that shows a 16-year old Gauri hailing from a slum in Bandra East who has lost her leg while sleeping on a footpath in Mumbai. "I was barely two then," says Gauri smiling. Gauri's only dream was to dance and she removes her artificial limb and gracefully dances on one foot. Gauri is the face of the exihibition that is called Star in The City to be held in Amsterdam. In fact Annemies Broekgaarden, The Head of the Tropenmuseum Junior Amsterdam along with Mumbai based Producer/Director,Nameeta Premkumar Nair have recreated the whole city of Mumbai in Amsterdam for the exihibition to be showcased for 2.5 years in Amsterdam. "And Mumbai is incomplete without Bollywood being a part of it. Thus the music video that Asha Bhosale has sung that tells that life is all about dreaming big to make it in the city of Mumbai," said Annemies.
