In a conversation while talking about the forthcoming film Gandhi-My Father with B4U VJ Asad on Star Stop actor turned producer Anil Kapoor said, “Gandhi-My Father is the most special film of my life.”

Akshay Khanna said that given the fact that Anil Kapoor is producing the film he could have essayed any role. But it just shows the integrity of the person towards the project. He wanted to give his best to the film and hence refrained from acting it. While Anil Kapoor added that he couldn’t have acted in the film because the script did not demand it.

Anil also took special interest in the making of Gandhi. He actually slugged it out in the gym with Darshan Zariwala who essays the character of Gandhi in the film.
