Esha Deol, an Indian actress and skilled Indian classical dancer in Oddissi, who is celebrating her 25th birthday today.


Esha Deol was born on November 2nd 1982 in India. She adopted her father's acting talent and her mother's beauty. Esha is the first daughter of Dharmendra and Hemamalini. Esha Deol is the elder sister of Ahana Deol. Esha Deol is the Half-sister of Bobby Deol and Sunny Deol.



She is a skilled Indian classical dancer in Oddissi style. She is also trained in Bharatanatyam by her mother. Along with her mother she has performed many stage classical dance programs. Esha was also a national level football player. Esha got her Master Degree in Media Arts and Bachelor Degree in Computer Technology at Oxford University.


Her first film was Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe in 2002 directed by Boney Kapoor. Her performance was noticed, and she won the Lux New Face Award for this movie. Esha received a national award for LOC Kargil in 2003.


She had her first big hit in Dhoom (2004). This was followed by a Karan Johar and Shahrukh Khan joint production, Kaal. Her next hit, Boney Kapoor's No Entry was declared the biggest grosser of 2005.



She also had a hit with the action thriller Dus. She is set to star in her mother's next directorial venture with Rekha and Abhishek Bachchan and also a film in which her mother and her will be starring together in for the first time.



Rumour has it,that there will be a Remake of Sholay. Esha Deol is rumored to play the role of Basanti originally played by her mother Hema Malini, rumour also has it that Kajol has been roped in to play Basanti.



Recently, She also had a hit with the killer love thriller Ram Gopal Verma's Darling.
