The Great Khali has hit headlines ever since he arrived in Mumbai. Whether it was Shah Rukh Khan inviting him over for dinner for his children to meet the WWF wrestler or ace cricketer Sachin Tendulkar and his family having a close encounter with him, the Great Khali has won over many a hearts.

The Great Khali is all set to make his debut in films. In fact Venus Films' threw a party to mark the beginning of Khali's acting career. Kushti, which also costars Rajpal Yadav and Nargis.The film has been backed by Venus and Khali plays one of the important leads in the film. Venus head Ratan Jain, Ganesh Jain, Bharat Shah, Director T K Rajeev Verma Manoj Joshi, Shama Sikandar, Choreographer Pony Verma were among the other members of the film who attended the party.

Wrap up party of the film Kushti was held at the pool side of Sun-n-Sand at Juhu to mark the completion of the film.

The event began with an award function where Khali was honoured with an IFBB (International Federation of Body Building Award). Amit Swami, Executive Assistant of IFBB presented the award to Khali. The Great Khali was mobbed by his fans even the people from the hotel had got the cameras to click the pictures of Khali but there was a huge fan following of kids who were extremely excited to meet Khali.

Television personality Siddharth Kanan played a perfect host that was attended by top celebrities.
