When Bollywood and cricket met, the result was IPL and it was truly enjoyable to see one’s favorite cricketer as well his Bollywood celebs on one podium. IPL was no doubt an entertaining one. Super stars like Shah Rukh, Preity, Akshay, Katrina, Hrithik had been a basis which derived a lot of glam to IPL. It can be well recalled that Hrithik Roshan had promoted Mumbai Indians last year and it was a glorifying success. Unluckily, this time there will be no Hrithik promoting.



Source very close to the actor told, “Hrithik will not be promoting IPL this year as he had done for Mumbai Indians last year. The cause is very clear that Hrithik is too engrossed in his forthcoming movie, Kites, for which he has put his heart and soul in it. He is completely devoted to Kites and does not desire a single flaw to occur.”

Now where IPL is going leaps and bounds, where celebs like Shilpa Shetty and all are joining in to add the glam quotient in it, Hrithik is concentrating more on his movie Kites, and obviously who won’t, when the movie is from his dad’s banner and is one of the biggest budgeted films till date.

We hope Hrithik’s ‘Kites’ literally flies like a kite in the air, over coming every other kites and paving its way to sour high and higher.
