Vinay says, “I was very nervous and scared. I come from a small town [Ranchi] where nobody could even imagine kissing an actress, except in their dreams. Gul was of great help, though.”

Vinay adds, “The cast and crew teased me about the kiss saying that they would all come and see the scene being shot. I wondered why would so many people want to see me kissing Gul. But Parvathi and Gul made it real easy for me.”

Well, the best compliment was that Gul said it was her best on-screen kiss. I stopped smoking for two days so as not to offend her. I didn't want to stink of smoke when I kissed her, especially when I have never done a kissing scene before.
