Naseeruddin Shah and Vijay Raaz will be seen together on the silver screen once more in Raja Menon’s ‘Barah Aana’.

The two actors have earlier shared screen space in Mira Nair’s award winning ‘Monsoon wedding’ which went on to win accolades at Venice film festival and was nominated for Golden Globe awards.

Insiders tell that Vijay’s performance in ‘Barah Aana’ is his finest acting show till date and well, what more can be said about the ever so talented Naseeruddin Shah who will be playing a ‘common man’ the movie.



Tannishtha Chatterjee is a Bengali Indian actress often referred by the Indian Media as the Princess of Parallel Cinema. Her first movie ‘Swaraj’ won a National Film Award. Critical acclaim has been a constant companion with movies like ‘Shadows of Time’ a German film, Partho Sengupta’s award winning Indo-French film, ‘Let the Wind Blow’, ‘Strings’, ‘Kasturi’ and Bengali film ‘Bibar’ for which she won the best actress in 2006 Osian Film Festival and the 2007 BFJA awards. Freshly, her British film ‘Brick Lane’ directed by Sarah Gavron gave her a Best Actress nomination for the prestigious British Independent Film Awards. She is also a Trained Hindustani Classical Vocalist she has also sung for films like “Page 3, “Road” and her own movies.
