It was a rare sight to see as Bollywood megastars SRK and Aamir joined their hands together to support producers and distributors in the ongoing multiplex row.

Producers are demanding a 50-50 revenue sharing ration with multiplex owners, however multiplex owners don’t want the current ratio 40 - 48% to be changed.

Aamir Khan told, “It is our responsibility to explain our problems and issues to our audiences. We as entertainers feel sorry for not being able to show new films for sometime and we are here to explain our side of the argument.”

“There is a need to re-look at revenue sharing model. The gross and net profits made by the films have increased over the years but the share of producers and distributors remains the same.”

SRK also voiced his opinion and explained that the awesome twosome Khans have not come for any publicity but are just asking for “fair rights for Friday nights”.
