Adhyayan tells, “I have done five years of schooling in the UK. I was an extremely obese kid and weighed 120 kilograms. I remember being called a fat Paki numerous times. It’s not that I have a problem being referred to as a Pakistani or an Indian, what hurt was the derogatory way in which it was said. I don’t really know why they said such things though. Things changed once I got friendly with my classmates. Soon they stopped addressing me that way.”
