Every Friday plays an important role for Bollywood as it’s the day, which decides the destiny of every movie hitting the cinema halls. However, the much-awaited movie, Kaminey had to face a lot of trouble during the release. No points for guessing, it’s because of the swine flu scare haunting Mumbai and Pune. Needless to say, the multiplex closure in the weekend in Mumbai and Pune would badly affect the box office collections of the movie.
"We respect the government’s decision to shut down multiplexes etc. We are releasing Kaminey in other parts of the country this Friday itself as we have received very positive advances for it. And we hope that by Sunday everything will be back to normal in Mumbai and Pune as well." tells Shahid Kapur, on the shutting of multiplexes in Mumbai and Pune for the weekend due to the Swine Flu scare.
We too hope the haunting shadow of the epidemic sheds off soon and we can enjoy our weekends fearlessly! |
