Shahid Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were awarded with Rajiv Gandhi Awards for their achievement in the field of entertainment in Mumbai on Wednesday.

A delighted Shahid who entertained the audience by singing Dhan Te Nan from his latest film Kaminey told, “I am just 28 years old and only five years in the profession. I grew up watching Rajiv Gandhi and I too want to do something for the country.”

Katrina Kaif has been touching new heights after a series of successful films. Katrina has been appreciated by one and all for her outstanding performance in New York.

Katrina after winning the award told, ‘Winning this prestigious award was an overwhelming experience, I am honored.“
