Though the bad boy has been in news on and off for picking up a stake in 20-20-cricket team, we lately discovered the actor’s real mania. It’s football that turns on Salman, which is why he has agreed to become the honorary ambassador for Indian football.
The debonair Salman expressed his happiness and excitement recently when India won the Nehru Cup in a cutthroat breaker with Syria. He told, "It's delightful news and I want to congratulate Bhaichung (Bhutia) and his boys on the win. They've really done a wonderful job."

"I just love the game and have grown up playing it. I want to encourage more youth from across the country to take up the game professionally. We need more footballing talent to come up in India," he includes.
What more? Salman is not only supporting football in the different parts of the country but also, is intending to attend junior football coaching camps to boost the morale of the boys.
The buzz also has it that Salman hasn’t charged anything for endorsing AIFF (All India Football Federation) but, the organization has planned to pay him the fees due to company norms. |
