This is great news for all those of you who had been waiting to see the mother-daughter duo on the big screen for a long long time. Soha and Sharmila Tagore lastly featuring in debutante director Sangeeta Dutta'a film Life Goes On.

The movie will be screened at the 11th Mumbai Film Festival, starting from Oct 29 to Nov 5.

Set in London, the movie revolves around Sanjay (Girish Karnad), his deceased wife (Sharmila Tagore) and three daughters. His shattered life goes through more chaos when Dia (played by Soha Ali Khan) the youngest daughter falls in love with a Muslim man.

Life Goes On has the shadow of Shakespeare's King Lear in modern style. It works functionally as a sub-text in the movie as we see Sanjay and Dia within the contours of the mythical Lear and Cordelia.
