Salman Khan has been part of the industry since a long time. Now he thinks that the audience is reluctant to watch him in romantic roles. The actor fears that the audience wants to see him only in action thrillers or comic roles.
Salman told, "People have loved me for the edgy and entertaining movies that I have done so far. But when it comes to family dramas, my audience doesn't seem to have liked me so much. Especially, after Wanted became a bit hit, I felt that I have been typecast by audiences who want to see me either do action-oriented roles or comedies. I honestly expected Main Aurr Mrs Khanna to do much better than Wanted, but look at the box office figures. I don't know how to react."

He included, "I feel my fans want to see me as a dashing man or make them laugh. Though I'm grateful to them for accepting me that way, as an actor I have to do different things. I cannot do action or comedy all the time.”
“I will continue doing all genres and hope that the audience likes me and appreciates the amount of effort I'm putting in my movies. But at the same time, the audience is god in our industry. So if they like me in certain genres, they will certainly get more of me in those," told Salman on a closing note. |
