Katrina is all set to obtain the remake rights of What Happens In Vegas. That is not all.

She will also be playing Cameron Diaz’s character in it.

Released in 2008, What Happens in Vegas gave Cameron a chance to totally overhaul her blonde image and explore her carefree wild side. Katrina has been itching for an image makeover.

The actress tells, "I know that I have a fun side which is rarely seen in my films. I just want to get on a bar table and do a drunken dance. I know I'll be good at it."

Katrina’s dream to shed her inhibitions onscreen will come true in the remake. Katrina is presently in talks with the producers of the movie to purchase the rights to remake it and plans to produce the movie in Hindi. Her wish list of directors for the desi version includes Imtiaz Ali, Anurag Basu or Dibakar Banerjee.

Katrina is superstitious about disclosing too many details currently.

She tells, "I'm not saying anything. Previously, I had tried buying the rights of a French film where I loved the heroine's character who was a scheming go-getter. After several meetings, I was told that the American producers had secured the rights and if I were to acquire them I would have to wait until next year and I can't wait that long to be wild and free on screen."
