Aamir’s recent stint as a puppeteer in an ad was much appreciated by his fans. However, the credit for the success of Aamir’s new avatar goes to Ramdas Padhya, a well-known puppeteer.

The actor honestly concedes that both the idea and his get up were inspired by Padhya’s look in a papad ad years ago.

A source associated with the ad tells, “This idea for the ad was given by Aamir, who has grown up watching Padhya in the famous papad ad. The actor underwent a quick training for his character from Padhya and the outcome has been fabulous.”

The 70’s look donned by the actor has given a total new dimension to the ad. “Aamir has been watching Padhya’s work since childhood and has been fascinated with him since then. So when he got a chance to depict Padhya in the ad, he grabbed the opportunity. Keen to perfect his character, Aamir mastered the art of puppetry from his inspiration.”, adds the source.

Further admiring Aamir for his hard work, the source tells, “Aamir is one of those actors who have no hesitation in learning and experimenting. He has worked hard for this particular ad. His creativity is not just limited to films; there is lot more to Aamir.”

Yet once more Aamir, the ‘perfectionist’ lives up to his class.
