An evening saw a three-hour live fiesta for all music lovers in Kolkata. Oscar winning music genius, A.R. Rahman captivated thousands of people by his mesmerizing tunes in Salt Lake stadium of Kolkata.

It was the ‘Jai Ho’ concert in which Rahman was accompanies by other talented singers like Hariharan and Sadhana Sargam. The concert was a unique mix of his songs, hard rock, rap and Arabic music.



"In Los Angeles, when somebody asked me which audience appreciated your music the best, I could only think of Kolkata," told Rahman who was performing in the city after six years.

Recalling his past experience Kolkata, he told, "If I have to hug each one of you, it would take me two years but I would still do that."
