Though the astonishing success of Wake Up Sid, has changed equations for Ranbir Kapoor, another name that is on casting director’s hot list is Kashmera Shah. The hot and sexy actress was seen essaying a light role in the movie.

Her short role and sincere act has put her career back on track and the lady is now being approached to play light, funny characters with a dash of her supreme oomph.

“Yes, after Wake Up Sid, people and producers’ perception has changed. While earlier producers thought of me only as a sexy girl, they now know that I can pull off a lighter role,” says Kashmera Shah.

So are we going to see the sex siren turning into a comedian queen?

“There’s still time. I haven’t signed for any project. I will pick and choose the best script. For now I am just agreed to be part of Mahesh Manjrekar’s next,” she includes.

Kashmera is very thrilled about her role in Manjrekar’s movie titled City of Gold, where she plays a Marathi girl.
