Shah Rkh Khan and Fardeen Khan will be seen together in the remake of the 1980 hit movie Qurbani, project which is an unfulfilled wish of actor-director Late Feroz Khan, is now the dream project of his son Fardeen Khan. Fardeen is now busy finalizing the script and the cast.
"My father's last wish was a remake of Qurbani. And, now after his death, this project is very close to my heart. I want to give it the best possible opportunity as it is a part of Hindi film history," told Fardeen.
Feroz Khan directed and produced Qurbani starred Vinod Khanna, Zeenat Aman, besides himself and was a superb hit. The music was highly accepted as it sold the highest number of records and tapes when it was released.
"The least one needs to do is to equal it. I want to give the remake a lot of time. If I can't make it better, I would like equal it at least," told Fardeen about the remake currently in the pre-production stage. |
