Winning the Filmfare in any category is an achievement in itself. This is echoed by any performer in Bollywood. Acclaimed actor Rahul Bose is also not far behind. But he is not included in the celebrations directly.
He is happy because Nandita Das' film ‘Firaaq' got noticed and also won several black ladies. “She's a much needed voice”, tells he.
Boman Irani, who won in the category of Best supporting actor for 3 Idiots, has been touted as the perfect one for such a role by Rahul. “He was pitching perfect in a tricky role in 3 idiots”, tells the self-proclaimed sports fanatic.
In the meantime, on his front, he is awaiting the reactions of the audience for his next film, ‘The Japanese Wife', though the first screening of the same was welcomed with positive reviews.
“I got first calls after yesterday's ‘The Japanese wife' screening. Wonderful reactions like Aparna's (Sen) best' etc. I am keeping my fingers crossed. The film releases in April”, tells Rahul as a last note.
Aparna Sen directed ‘The Japanese Wife', starring Rahul Bose and Raima Sen releases on April 9th. |
