Apart from topline honours, Aamir Khan earned the honour of being the youngest Indian to have received the Padma Bhushan. An achievement that Khan credits to "his family and fans who have loved him unconditionally."
Due to turn 45 shortly, Khan isn't assenting to any new projects as an actor. Rather, he will spotlight his image as a smart producer with 'Peepli Live', 'Dhobi Ghat' and 'Delhi Belly' being served up shortly for the bouquets and brickbats.
In 2008, 'Ghajini' triumphed with Rs 300 crore collections and in 2009, '3 idiots' has surpassed that daunting figure. "I never expected it," confesses Khan candidly in a tabloid chat. "It's unimaginable, but my aim is not to break any record, but to do work that excites me. I've always followed my heart."
