Aamir Khan visited the Druk White Lotus School in Leh where he shot parts of his smash hit ‘3 Idiots’, after it was affected by the cloudburst that claimed many lives. He had promised to visit the school after the incident and had also spoken to the principal.

Aamir said that was no casualty in the school, but the children are in shock. He is also campaigning to raise funds for the rehabilitation of the victims.

But it was not easy for him to reach the location as his flight developed technical snag and returned to New Delhi, before landing back in Leh, which caused a six-hour delay.

The school is located about 15 kilometers from Leh on the Leh-Manali highway.
