She scored major with 'Raajneeti' and Katrina Kaif is now confident of repeating the Prakash Jha magic with 'Satsang' helmed by the moviemaker. In the opus, Kat essays a Western woman in search of Oriental spirituality, reportedly modeled on a real life character.

Word has it that Katrina Kaif, enacting the central character sans make up and clad in ochre robes, exposes the multi billion global religious façade in India.
Having bagged praise with 'Raajneeti', Katrina is all gung ho over opting for films that are non glam and spotlight the actress in her. Interestingly, Jha who was convinced about Kat delivering at par in 'Raajneeti' was reportedly a mite apprehensive about whether Katrina would at last measure up to the cinematic bar he'd raised for 'Satsang' since the role wasn't short on complexity.
Insiders squeal that Jha and the 'Sheila' Senorita went through a round of intense discussions before Kat clinched the deal. Jha, admittedly, had decided upon greenlighting 'Satsang' with Kat during filming his political thriller 'Raajneeti.' And presently, the actress is acclimatising herself with the intricacies of the global religion factpry in India.
All blessed out with the spiritual saga in her kitty, Kat states in a tabloid quote that she nodded assent to the part after Jha fleshed out the character in detail for her through discussions. "This is one movie that I've to do the most preparation for," she goes on to say, "I'm open to the challenge."
