The newest news has it that both Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan are being considered to play a cop in the South remake of Gautham Menon's hit movie Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. The original movie starred Kamal Haasan.

The movie is an undercover crime thriller, having super advanced special effects.

The director is keen on recreating Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu in Bollywood but is confused on which actor to rope in. As of now, Shahrukh and Salman are being considered to step into the shoes of Kamal Hassan.

Gautham is quoted as telling, “We are showing the film around and we hope it gets picked up. As far as SRK and Salman go, all I can say is that it is a wish list. It would be great if either come on board, because it's a film for the masses.”
