A multi starrer Thriller Race is a story of two brothers, Ranveer (Saif Ali Khan) and Rajeev (Akshay Khanna) who always tries to out do each other. Ranveer is a hard core business man who has a passion to win. Rajveer on the other hand is a spoilt younger brother and is happy to be so. He is more into liquor and his actions are controlled by his drinking habits.

The story is all about betrayal and greed. Rajveer in order to get hold of the property and the insurance money, tricks his brother to death with the help of his brother’s secretary Sophia (Katrina Kaif). The story takes a turn when Ranveer (Saif Ali Khan) comes back to follow his younger brother’s footsteps to trick him back and in this process he is helped by the love of his life Sonia (Bipasha Basu) along with investigator Robert D Costa (Anil Kapoor) and his assistant mini (Sameera Reddy).

The movie has some eye catching cast like Saif Ali Khan with his new rugged look, Akshay Khanna who is playing negative in the film along with the bomb shell Katrina Kaif. Bipasha Basu is also amazing in her looks and style. The introduction scene of Saif Ali Khan makes the girls weak on their knees. Katrina has looked amazingly beautiful in her solo song love me kiss me touch me. The movie is given a totally different treatment as far as the suspense is concerned. With every passing incident the movie takes a new turn and leaves the audience spell bound.

The music is very peppy and youthful. The song Allah Duhai Hain has done good business. Pritam has done excellent work with his music in Race after his hit in Metro. The music has already hit the dance floors and people are really enjoying to dance to the tune of Race Hain Saanso ki. The song Pehli Nazar Mein has again marked the versatility of Atif Aslam after his success in Bas Ek Pal in the industry.

The movie is an action thriller as most of Abbas Mustan’s movies are expected to be. It also has a tint of romance and humor. This time the film has a totally different story line and the title of the film Race just explains it all. In all respect the film is well structured, musical thriller and a must watch film.
