The
king of comedies Priyadarshan dishes out yet another remarkable
comic caper in the form of Bhool Bhulaiya. This time,
however, he also adds a touch of horror and suspense to the
film.
The
backdrop of the film revolves around a small village where
the people are very conservative and superstitious. Badri
(Manoj Joshi) heads a Brahmin family whose ancestral palace
is believed to be haunted. One day, Siddharth (Shiney Ahuja)
and Avni (Vidya Balan), the son and daughter-in-law of Badri's
elder brother return to their native village from America.
While
Shiney Ahuja has a limited interesting role, major chunk of
the film revolves around Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan. Akshay
Kumar is Shiney’s friend who comes into the picture as Shiney
asks for help.
The pace the film sets out with is maintained till the last
and hence the audience is sure to enjoy it.
