B4U TV.com 'The Vibe' is always on the look out for fresh new talent in the UK Asian music scene. So keeping my ears to the street, I went to check out a sister with soul.Sonna Rele who has been actively involved in the music scene for a number of years and has worked with a number of influential producers and artists.
With soulful vocals accompanied by her skills in playing the guitar, piano and working a technical drum machine at the same time, Sonna's stage presence was highly enjoyable and comparable to that of Miss Keys. Witnessing the very best of live music, Sonna's vocal abilities and lyrics were enough to really understand her strengths as an artist. It's refreshing to see an artist who truly loves what they do and prove the power of great performing.
Having been singing since the age of 4 and coming from a highly musical family, Sonna's abilities stem from her strong musical background. Initiating her career in music at the age of 15 as a backing vocalist, she has since had the privilege of working and performing alongside artists like Nelly, Joss Stone, Maxi Priest, John Mayer and Wyclef Jean.
Now signed to Sony/ RCA and working with producer Livingstone, Sonna has just finished recording her debut album.so keep an eye out for this soulful sister!
