Black
The master of legendary cinema Sanjay Leela Bhansali completes a full circle with Black, Khamoshi being his first. The film revolves around a blind, deaf and mute girl (Rani Mukherjee) and her teacher (Amitabh Bachchan). Black reportedly is based on Hollywood’s The Miracle Worker. The film also has shades of the famous epic Helen Keller who was deaf, blind and mute.





Kisna
The film is a love story between two women (Ishina and Antonio) and a man (Vivek Oberoi) set against the pre-independence days of India. Kisna is showman’s Subhash Ghai first historical. The film also important to Vivek Oberoi who desperately needs a solo hit.







1857: The Rising
Ketan Mehta’s much awaited film! It is after a gap of nearly three years that one will get to watch a film starring Aamir Khan. But the lead actor however has voiced his trepidation over the reaction of his fans towards The Rising what with his personal life hitting headlines in daily newspapers.





Bewafa
Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor and Sushmita Sen. With an ensemble cast as this a lot is at stake for director Dharmesh Darshan. Bewafa is based on the yesteryear Chopra hit Gumraah that dealt with an extramarital affair. In this film Kareena who is married to Anil Kapoor is attracted to a much younger man, Akshay Kumar.





Kaal
Dharma Productions first thriller starring Ajay Devgan, John Abraham, Vivek Oberoi, Lara Dutta and Esha Deol. Soham Shah makes his directorial debut with this one. And with the backing of Karan Johar and Shahrukh Khan the chances of things going wrong seem slim.





Elaan
Reports have it that Vikram Bhatt’s Elaan is a mordern version of Ramesh Sippy’s Sholay. The film marks the comeback of yesteryear disco dancer actor Mithun Chakraborty. But with stars like John Abraham, Arjun Rampal and Lara Dutta how it fares at the box-office remains to be seen.





Sarkar
Ramgopal Varma’s version of the Hollywood hit The Godfather. For the first time Bachchan fans will get to see Amitabh and Abhishek sharing screen space. No film buff will dare to miss this one.





Parineeta
Based on Sharatchandra’s book by the same name Parineeta marks the debut of Sanjay Dutt in an art film. The film also has Saif Ali Khan in a pivotal role.







Shabd
This is for the first time that actor Sanjay Dutt will be seen playing a writer. Aishwarya Rai plays his beautiful wife. Zayad Khan a professor. Though it is a story about a married woman having an affair with a younger man, there’s a motive involved. And that motive will be revealed in Shabd.
