The annual Regent Street Festival – one of the most exciting outdoor free street events in London – will this year showcase all the flair, colour and magic of India. Regent Street will be closed to traffic all day as dance processions, acrobatic performances, dhol drummers, a Goan beach and a live DJ stage among other performances transport audiences to a country famed for its exotic festivals. Special guests who will be attending will be Ken Livingstone (Mayor of London), Ms Ambika Soni (Hon. Indian Minister of Tourism and Culture) and from Mumbai, Bollywood stars Celine Jaitley and Amrita Arora.

The Regent Street Festival is the climax and summer signature event of ‘India Now’ – a three-month season of events celebrating London’s strengthening relationship with India and also exploring India's culture and its contribution to London life.
